What I’ve Been Loving Lately: My Current Style Favorites
My current style favorites have changed a lot over the last couple of years, right along with my personal style. Right now, I would describe my style as chic, timeless, and classy—but in a way that reflects the woman I am now.
Becoming a wife and a young mom has definitely influenced how I dress. I also have to style my body for whatever phase I’m currently in, so I’m learning what makes me feel the most confident right now instead of dressing for a past version of myself.
I don’t wear as many mini dresses or show as much skin as I used to. These days, I’m stepping into more of a modest, classy, sexy-chic era. I still want to have fun with my clothes, but when I get dressed, I want to feel like a strong, confident, really classy girl.
Whether I’m dressed up or sitting at home in pajamas, I still want to feel beautiful and put together.
What I Keep Reaching For
My everyday wardrobe right now is honestly pretty simple.
One of the pieces I keep reaching for is my favorite pair of mid-rise jeans from Fashion Nova. They’re comfortable, easy to move around in, and don’t make me feel buried underneath my clothes—which is especially important for my everyday life.
Then there’s my grey pajama set. It’s loose, a little baggy, ridiculously comfortable, and perfect for my cozy days at home.
Color-wise, you’ll catch me in black more often than anything else. But I’m finally getting brave enough to experiment with different colors and styles. I’ve played it safe entirely too long, and I’m ready to have more fun with my wardrobe.
It’s All in the Accessories
I’m definitely an accessories girl.
I have three piercings in each ear, so lately I’ve been wearing three silver earrings together. I also have a gold forever bracelet and a silver heart necklace that I wear daily.
For bags, my metallic silver Coach bag is one of my favorites. It’s not necessarily my everyday bag, but when I’m stepping out and want the outfit to give a little more, she does exactly what needs to be done.

My black Fashion Nova sandals have also been in rotation because they’re comfortable, stylish, and go with almost anything.
And one of my oldest accessories is still hanging in there—a gold watch I bought from Kohl’s about 10 years ago that somehow still looks brand new. I love pairing it with my gold accessories when an outfit calls for it.
My Current Style & Beauty Favorites
For everyday lips, I’m actually not doing a whole lip combo. I usually save that for when I’m getting dressed up. Most days, I reach for my e.l.f. lip gloss because it keeps my lips hydrated for hours.
I’ve also been loving Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. It holds my brows in place all day without leaving that annoying white cast.
And for my face, Milk Makeup’s skin tint has been a favorite because I don’t like anything that feels too heavy or looks cakey. It’s lightweight and gives me the dewy finish I love.
But one of the simplest things that makes me feel put together—even on a casual day—is honestly just getting out of bed and getting dressed.
These are just a few of my current style favorites, and I already know my wardrobe will keep evolving as I do.
Being a stay-at-home mom doesn’t mean I have somewhere to go every day, but looking like I could go somewhere makes me feel good. Add a sweet, grown-woman fragrance and I’m good.
What’s on My Wishlist
Right now? A new wardrobe.
As I rebuild my wardrobe, I already know some of my current style favorites will influence what I add next.
I’ve been eyeing a few fashion staples from Micas, including a cute matching set, and I definitely need a good Sephora haul to replace some of the beauty products I need again.
And with fall coming? Give me the boots.
I’m a boots-and-heels girl through and through. A cute brown suede boot or bootie will get me every single time, so those are absolutely on my list for the upcoming season.
Style Should Still Feel Like You
One thing I’ve learned since becoming a mom is that my personal style can grow with me.
I care a lot less about following every trend now. I want to wear what makes me feel grown, beautiful, confident, and like myself.
If I had to describe an outfit that feels the most like Stanika, I’d say princess meets modest chic. It has to have class, but I also like something that looks a little different.
And if you’re still figuring out your own style, try things. Pick different types of clothing that are naturally pleasing to your eye. Mix and match. Pay attention to what makes you feel good.
And if your style doesn’t look like everybody else’s?
So what? It’s yours. Walk confidently in that.
Anyway, that’s what’s been in heavy rotation over here lately. I’m sure this list will change again once fall officially hits, so I’ll keep you updated.
